The Traveling Chalice Program provides an opportunity for vocation visibility, inviting parishioners to pray for vocations in their individual homes. Each month the chalice will be presented to a participating household of faith at a designated Mass. The household will display the chalice in a prominent place in their homes and use it as a focus for prayer for vocations throughout the month. This is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to set aside time to contemplate the significance of the Church’s Eucharistic life, and the importance of fostering vocation to the priesthood, religious life and the diaconate.

Sign up for the honor of displaying the Vocation Chalice in your home for a month, and take a few minutes each day to pray for vocations. Nothing is more powerful than prayer, and your prayers are very much needed! Prayer materials are provided.

The first weekend of every month, at each Mass, the Vocation Chalice goes to a different family.

All that is required is a simple daily prayer for an increase of priestly and religious vocations.
