Circle of Grace Parent Acknowledgement to “OPT OUT” of Program

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishop’s Charter for the Protection of Children and Youth and the Safe Environment Policies of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston require that all children in our schools and religious education programs be given safe environment formation that is age-appropriate and in accord with Catholic moral principles. The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston provides such formation through its safe environment educational program for children and young people in Kindergarten-12th grades during faith formation classes and by offering parents supplementary training resources. It also offers parents/guardians the option of teaching the Circle of Grace lesson at home instead.
